About the Author

MICHAEL KORDA was born in London, England, in 1933, and educated at Le Rosey, in Switzerland, and Magdalen College, Oxford.

He served two years in the Royal Air Force and moved to the United States in 1958.

Mr. Korda has written for national magazines for several years. His first book was Male Chauvinism! How It Works.

He is Glamour's monthly motion-picture reviewer, a member of the National Society of Film Critics, and vice-president of a major publishing house.

Mr. Korda lives in Manhattan with his wife and child.
